Enable or Disable Specific Visual Effects

Access Individual Effect Toggles

Open Shader Options from Video Settings. Most visual effects in E LITE MakeUp Shaders can be toggled on or off independently, allowing you to customize exactly which features you want active.

Common Effects You Can Control

Shadows — Toggle shadow rendering on or off. Disabling shadows improves framerate significantly.

Bloom/Glow — Enable bright halos around light sources and glowing blocks. Disable for a cleaner look or better performance.

Ambient Occlusion — Adds subtle shadows in crevices and corners. Improves realism but costs framerate.

Water Reflections — Enhances how water surfaces reflect the sky and surroundings.

Color Enhancement — Boosts saturation and vibrancy of block colors.

Make Your Changes

Click the checkbox or toggle button next to each effect. Some effects may have intensity sliders that let you adjust their strength rather than simply turning them on or off.

Test in Your World

Load into your world and observe how each disabled or enabled effect changes your visual experience. You can return to options and adjust again without restarting.
