Adjust Shader Settings to Match Your Computer's Performance
Access the Shader Options Menu
Press the Shader Options button in your Video Settings screen. This opens the configuration panel where all visual and performance settings live.
Find Performance-Related Settings
Look for options labeled with terms like "quality," "performance mode," or "render distance." E LITE MakeUp Shaders includes sliders and toggles that let you reduce visual complexity without disabling the shader entirely.
Lower Settings for Better Framerate
If your game feels slow:
- Reduce shadow quality or disable shadow mapping
- Lower ambient occlusion intensity
- Decrease reflection detail
- Turn off or minimize bloom effects
Increase Settings for Better Visuals
If your computer handles the mod well and you want more detail:
- Enable higher shadow resolution
- Increase color saturation and contrast
- Boost bloom and glow effects
- Enable advanced lighting features
Test Your Changes
After adjusting settings, load into your world and observe framerate stability. Make small changes and test again rather than adjusting multiple settings at once. This helps you find the sweet spot between visual quality and smooth gameplay on your specific hardware.
