Understand the Map Display of Time and Weather

Reading In-Game Conditions on the Map

Dynmap overlays real-time information about your server's current state directly on the map interface.

1. Look for a time display, usually in the top corner or info panel—this shows the current in-game time of day

2. Check for a weather indicator showing rain, clear skies, or storms

3. The map background and lighting may change to reflect day/night cycles—daytime appears bright, nighttime darker

4. During rain or storms, you may see visual effects or text indicating weather status

How This Helps

Weather information is useful for coordinating with other players or understanding why certain mobs are spawning. The visual representation of day/night on the map makes it immediately clear what conditions players are experiencing in-game, even if you're viewing from the web browser.
