Chat with In-Game Players from the Web Map

Sending Messages from Browser to Server

Dynmap includes a two-way chat system that lets web viewers communicate with players in-game.

1. Look for the chat box or message input field on the web map interface (usually at the bottom or side of the screen)

2. Type your message into the text field

3. Press Enter or click Send

4. Your message appears in the in-game chat and is visible to all connected players

Receiving Messages

When in-game players send chat messages, they appear in real time on the web map's chat panel. You'll see the player's name followed by their message. This works both ways—in-game players can see messages you send from the browser.

Note that chat visibility may be restricted by server permissions. Some servers limit who can see or send messages through the web interface. If you can't send messages, ask your server administrator about chat permissions.
