How to Get Skyroot, Golden Oak and Crystal Wood

Finding the Right Tree

Each wood type comes from its own Dynamic Aether species. Skyroot trees are the common Aether tree and give Skyroot logs. Golden Oak and Gilded Oak are rarer variants with golden foliage — Gilded Oak drops acorns you can replant. Crystal trees grow in the Aether and yield crystal-themed wood. Blightwillow and Blighted Skyroot are corrupted variants found in darker Aether regions.

Felling for Maximum Yield

Stand at the base of the trunk and chop the lowest log. Dynamic Trees propagates the fell upward through connected logs, so you get the entire trunk in one action. Branches are separate and may need their own chops if they do not connect cleanly.

Replanting for Renewable Wood

Every species drops its own propagation item: Skyroot Seed for Skyroot, Golden Oak Acorn for Golden Oak, Gilded Oak Acorn for Gilded Oak, Crystal Skyroot Seed for Crystal, and so on. Plant these on appropriate Aether soil to start a farm. Because Dynamic Trees grow slowly, plant several at once in a grid with spacing so branches do not overlap and stall each other.
