How Dynamic Tooltips Work

Dynamic Tooltips Mod changes what you see when you hover over an item. Instead of a fixed block of text, the tooltip adapts to the item in front of you. A tool with durability can show its remaining uses, an enchanted item can list its enchantments, and modded items can expose their own attributes. Because the information is context-aware, the same tooltip layout can present different details for different items.

Configuring What You See

Every extra detail is configurable, so you can decide which lines appear and which stay hidden. If a particular category of information is not useful to you, it can be turned off without affecting the rest. This also means tooltips stay readable when you are carrying items from many different mods, since you control the amount of data shown. The mod is built to work with modded items and custom content, not just vanilla ones.
