Set Up Custom Icons for Your Worlds

Preparing Your Icon Files

The mod reads icon images from a designated folder in your Minecraft directory. Create a folder structure where the mod expects to find world-specific icons. Icons should be in PNG format and sized appropriately (typically 32×32 or 64×64 pixels work best for application icons).

Naming and Organizing Icons

Name your icon files to match your world or server names exactly. The mod uses these filenames to identify which icon to display when you join a specific world. If you're playing on a server, use the server address or name as the filename basis.

Place all prepared icons in the mod's designated config folder. Check the mod's configuration file to confirm the exact directory path—this varies depending on your setup.

Testing Your Setup

Launch Minecraft and join the world or server whose icon you've prepared. The application icon in your taskbar or window title should update to display your custom image. If it doesn't appear, verify that:

  • The filename matches your world/server name precisely
  • The image format is PNG
  • The file is in the correct folder location
  • You've restarted the game after adding new icons
