How to Loot Suspicious Sand and Graves Safely
Suspicious sand is one of the main rewards inside the overhauled temple and its surrounding village, but it is also where the structure hides its nastiest surprises. Brushing it carelessly can drop you into a trap or trigger TNT.
Brushing Suspicious Sand
Use a brush on every suspicious sand block you find. Suspicious sand appears both inside the temple and in the village buildings, so search thoroughly rather than rushing the main pyramid. Brush slowly and watch what pops out. Valuable loot is the goal, but some blocks are bait.
Handling Graves and TNT Traps
The temple contains graves and TNT traps mixed in with the treasure. Before brushing a suspicious sand block, look at the floor and walls around it. If you see exposed TNT, pressure plates, or suspicious gaps in the floor, assume a trap is nearby. Dig around suspicious sand from the side rather than standing directly on top of it, and keep an escape route open behind you. If a trap triggers, back away instead of trying to grab loot. Carry blocks to seal off TNT blast paths, and never brush suspicious sand while standing on a block that could fall away beneath you.
