Create a Duelist Loot Table for Dungeons

Set Up Your Loot Table File

Create or edit a loot table JSON file in your loot_tables/chests/ directory. This file will define what items drop from your dungeon chests.

Add Duelist Weapons to the Pool

1. Reference the weapon item IDs from your loaded plugin (Nexo, Oraxen, or ItemsAdder).

2. Add entries for each tier you want to include: Iron Short Sword, Gold Rapier, Diamond Revolver, etc.

3. Set appropriate weights—higher weights mean higher drop chance. Netherite weapons should have lower weights than Iron.

Balance Rarity

Use the weight parameter to control drop rates. For example:

• Iron tier: weight 10 (common)
• Gold tier: weight 5 (uncommon)
• Diamond tier: weight 2 (rare)
• Netherite tier: weight 1 (very rare)

Test Your Loot Table

Place a chest, apply your loot table using /loot give @s loot [table_path], and verify the correct weapons appear with expected frequency.
