How Update Messages Appear

When Ducky Updater Lib Mod detects a new version of a mod that uses this library, you'll receive a message in your in-game chat. This notification appears automatically without requiring any action from you.

What the Message Contains

The chat message will display:

• The name of the mod with an available update
• The latest version number available on Modrinth
• Information that an update is ready to download

When Checks Happen

The mod performs update checks automatically during gameplay. You don't need to manually trigger these checks—they occur in the background while you play. This means you'll be notified of updates as soon as they're detected, keeping you informed without interrupting your game.

What to Do Next

Once you see an update notification, you can choose to download and install the new version at your convenience. The mod simply informs you that an update exists; it doesn't force installation.
