Verify the Mod Uses This Library

Not all mods integrate Ducky Updater Lib. Check the mod's official description or documentation to confirm it supports automatic update checking. If it doesn't mention this feature, the mod won't send notifications.

Check Modrinth Availability

Update checks only work for mods published on Modrinth. If a mod you use is only available on other platforms, this library won't detect updates for it.

Ensure the Library is Installed

Ducky Updater Lib must be in your mods folder for any integrated mod to send notifications. If you've installed a mod that uses this library but haven't installed the library itself, update alerts won't appear.

Chat Settings

Verify your in-game chat isn't filtered to hide system messages. Update notifications appear as chat messages, so if you've disabled certain message types, you might not see them.

Game Restart

After installing or updating mods, restart your game to ensure all libraries load correctly and update checks function properly.
