Building Your Totem Pole

Construct a vertical stack using totem blocks in the pattern your target creature requires. Each extinct animal has a specific totem configuration—consult the creature's entry to see which blocks go where. The structure must be built in the correct order from bottom to top.

Preparing the Soul Bottle

Craft a Bottle-o-Soul and fill it with the soul of a creature matching your totem's design. You'll need to defeat or find the appropriate mob to capture its essence. Once filled, the bottle is ready for the final step.

Completing the Revival

Place the Bottle-o-Soul on top of your completed totem pole. The structure will activate, and your extinct creature will spawn. The totem blocks will remain in place, allowing you to revive the same creature again by simply placing another filled Bottle-o-Soul on top.

Keep your totem in a safe location—the revived creature may be aggressive or require specific conditions to thrive. Some extinct animals have special behaviors or dietary needs once brought back to life.
