How to Build and Control Dirt Golems

Constructing a Dirt Golem

Arrange dirt or soil blocks in a T-shape or golem formation using one of six available soil variations. Each soil type creates a golem with the same behavior but different appearance. Stack blocks carefully to match the required structure—typically a head, body, and two arm positions.

Activating Your Golem

Complete the structure and place a soul-infused item or activation block on top to bring the golem to life. The exact activation method depends on your mod version, but once activated, the golem becomes a mobile entity that follows your commands.

Harvesting Dirt Blocks

Your active Dirt Golem will drop dirt blocks as it moves and works. These blocks can be collected and reused for building or farming. The golem produces resources passively over time, making it useful for large-scale terraforming projects.

Mob Reactions and Combat

Dirt Golems react to nearby mobs—they'll defend themselves against hostile creatures and may attack threats in their vicinity. Position your golem strategically in areas where it can both gather resources and protect your base from wandering enemies.
