Combine Shulker Box Collection with Hopper Systems

Understand the Workflow

The Drops Into Shulker Mod works best when you're manually collecting items. However, you can combine it with your existing storage infrastructure by using shulker boxes as portable containers.

Use Shulker Boxes as Transfer Vessels

Collect items into your offhand shulker box while exploring or farming. When you return to your base, place the full shulker box above a hopper or directly into your storage system. The hopper will pull items from the shulker box into your main storage.

Automate Sorting

For organized storage, place hoppers connected to item sorters or storage drawers. Drop your filled shulker boxes onto these systems to automatically sort and store your collected materials.

Maintain a Rotation

Keep several empty shulker boxes at your base so you always have fresh ones ready for your next collection trip. This creates an efficient cycle: collect → return → sort → repeat.
