Prepare Your Base Before Fighting the Wither

Disable Terrain Destruction

Before summoning the boss, use /function wither:config to open the settings menu. Toggle the terrain destruction option to OFF. This prevents the Wither's attacks from cratering your base or destroying valuable blocks during the fight.

Choose a Safe Arena Location

Build your Wither spawn structure at least 200+ blocks away from your main base. The farther, the better—this gives you space to maneuver and ensures stray explosions won't damage your builds. A flat, open area works best.

Stock Your Inventory

Bring high-tier armor (Netherite or Diamond minimum), a sturdy shield, and plenty of healing supplies:

• Golden apples or enchanted golden apples
• Healing potions
• Food for hunger recovery

Consider bringing a bow with arrows for ranged damage during phases when the boss is far away. Leave room in your inventory for drops after victory.
