Build Layered Web Defenses

Use Produce Silk to create multiple layers of Silken Cobweb blocks around your colony. These slow intruders and suffocate water mobs, buying time for your spider army to respond. Arrange webs in maze-like patterns to confuse attackers.

Recruit Wild Spider Allies

Activate Spider Kinship to mark nearby wild spiders with pheromones. They become allies and protect your territory without attacking you first. More allies mean stronger collective defense against raids.

Leverage Arachnid Nature Passive

Your Arachnid Nature skill grants poison immunity and bonus damage against enemies trapped in silk blocks. Use this advantage by fighting within your web territory where you're stronger and enemies are weakened.

Manage Fire Vulnerability

Your silk-covered body takes extra damage from fire. Keep flammable materials away from your colony and avoid fire-based traps. Position your nest away from lava lakes and hostile fire sources.

Avoid Villager Settlements

Villagers will panic and attack you on sight. Never approach villages or trading posts. Build your colony in isolated biomes far from human civilization to prevent constant raids.

Use Spider Sense for Early Warning

Your Spider Sense highlights ground mobs through walls. Monitor your territory regularly to spot threats before they reach your egg sacs and storage.
