Using the Dragon Radar

How the Dragon Radar Works

The Dragon Radar is a compass-style tool for locating dragons. When idle, the needle spins clockwise. Once a dragon is within range, it points directly toward that dragon instead.

Range defaults to 15,000 blocks and can be extended through the config. You can narrow results with filters for dragon type, stage, gender, and distance, so the radar locks onto the dragon you actually want rather than the nearest one.

If the needle spins counter-clockwise, you are aligned with the dragon on the X and Z axes but not on Y — meaning it is directly above or below you. Move vertically to correct this.

Dragons at zero HP are ignored, so the radar will not point at corpses. However, glitched dragons may still register until their bones are harvested. Keep this in mind if a reading seems to lead nowhere.
