Planning Your Storage

Decide where you'll keep your shulker boxes—a dedicated storage room near your base works well. Since shulker boxes stack in your inventory but not when placed, you'll want organized shelf space or labeled chests to track what's inside each box.

Color-Coding Strategy

Shulker boxes come in multiple colors. Use different colors for different purposes: one color for building materials, another for ores, another for tools, etc. This makes finding what you need quick and intuitive.

Placement and Access

Place shulker boxes on shelves, in item frames, or in organized rows. Label them with signs or name tags if needed. Since you can now craft boxes faster with double shell drops, you can afford to make several specialized boxes.

Portable Storage

Keep one or two shulker boxes in your inventory while exploring or building. When full, return home and swap them out. This mod makes maintaining a mobile storage system practical since you're not bottlenecked by shell availability anymore.
