Understanding Shulker Box Capacity

Each shulker box holds 27 items—equivalent to three full inventory rows. By carrying shulker boxes instead of loose stacks, you multiply your effective carrying capacity significantly.

Packing Strategy

Before a long mining or exploration trip, fill shulker boxes with specific categories: one for building blocks, one for tools and weapons, one for food and potions. This organization prevents rummaging through mixed inventories.

Crafting Multiple Boxes

With double shell drops, you can now afford to dedicate multiple boxes to different purposes. Craft several boxes and pre-load them at your base before departing.

In-Field Management

When your main inventory fills during exploration, transfer items into your carried shulker boxes. When those fill, you have room to collect more resources. This mod's double drops make it feasible to carry three or four shulker boxes, effectively multiplying your inventory by four or five times.
