Craft Your First Shulker Box with One Shulker Kill

What You Need

With this mod installed, you only need to kill one shulker to gather enough materials for a shulker box. Defeat a single shulker in the End and collect both shells it drops.

Gathering the Second Material

Shulker boxes also require one chest. Craft a chest using eight wooden planks in a crafting table, or find one in a generated structure like a village or dungeon.

Crafting the Shulker Box

Open your crafting table. Place the chest in the center slot. Arrange the two shulker shells above and below the chest (or in the pattern shown in your recipe book). Craft the shulker box.

Result

You now have a shulker box—a portable storage container that holds 27 items and takes up only one inventory slot. This is a massive quality-of-life improvement for survival mode, letting you carry far more resources on expeditions without this mod requiring twice as many shulker kills.
