How Refresh Timers Work

After you loot a container, it doesn't stay empty forever. The Doomsday Functionality Mod includes an automatic refresh system that restocks containers with new items after a set period of time passes. This allows you to return to the same locations repeatedly and gather supplies continuously.

Using Timers to Your Advantage

This mechanic transforms decorative blocks into renewable resource points. Rather than exploring endlessly for new containers, you can establish a supply route visiting familiar locations. The timer resets independently for each container, so you can maintain multiple loot sources across your world.

Planning Your Route

Identify several lootable decorations in different areas. Visit them in sequence, allowing time between visits for timers to reset. This creates an efficient farming loop for gathering materials without constant exploration.
