Understanding the Visual Changes to Familiar Mobs

What's Different

Dokimobs Mod updates the appearance of 20 vanilla creatures with refined textures and smoother animations. The blocky silhouettes remain unchanged—this is not a total overhaul—but colors are softer and less saturated than vanilla, with small decorative details added to each mob.

Finding Updated Mobs

Look for visual updates across three categories:

Friendly mobs include Pigs, Cows, Sheep, Chickens, Mooshrooms, and Villagers. These are easiest to spot in farms and villages.

Neutral mobs like Endermen, Bees, Llamas, Trader Llamas, and Wandering Traders now have smoother idle animations and refined details.

Hostile mobs such as Zombies, Skeletons, Drowned, Zombie Villagers, Creepers, Spiders, Cave Spiders, Phantoms, and the Warden all receive texture updates and visual refinement.

Observing Animations

Watch mobs while they stand still or move slowly. You'll notice natural, fluid motions instead of rigid vanilla poses. The changes are most apparent when mobs are at rest or walking at normal pace.
