How to Recover from a Spin or Crash Landing in Do A Barrel Roll
Why You Spin
Spins happen when you hold a roll or pitch input too long, or when you combine both at low speed. The mod keeps your momentum realistic, so a stalled wing will keep rotating until you give it airflow again.
Steps to Recover
1. Stop all mouse input. Do not fight the spin with more roll.
2. Pitch down gently to point your nose toward the ground. This restores airflow over the wings.
3. Once you feel speed return, roll back to level using small mouse movements.
4. Fire a rocket to regain altitude before you get too close to the ground.
5. If you are already too low, aim for water, leaves, or a slope to reduce fall damage.
Landing Safely
- Approach with a shallow pitch, not a steep dive.
- Level your wings with the horizon before you touch down.
- Use A and D to line up with flat ground.
- If you must land hard, aim for a hay bale or water to avoid a fatal impact.
