What Changed in the Jungle

The DnT Jungle Temple Overhaul Mod replaces the vanilla jungle temple with four separate jungle ruin variants. Rather than one predictable pyramid, you now encounter different layouts, each with its own environmental theme and level of design complexity. Because the variants are rare, you may explore several jungles before meeting all four.

What to Expect Inside

Each ruin type mixes its own traps, puzzles, and archaeology into the structure, so the interior is not a copy of the vanilla temple. Loot is handled through specialized loot tables tied to the variant you find, meaning rewards differ between ruins. Some variants also generate custom villages nearby, adding a settlement element alongside the ruins.

Tips for Exploring

Bring standard trap-survival gear and a brush for archaeology, and treat each ruin as unknown rather than assuming vanilla temple behavior. Since layouts vary, map as you go and check side passages.
