Reload the plugin configuration without restarting

When to reload

After editing the Distant Horizons Plugin configuration file, you need to reload it for changes to take effect. This avoids a full server restart.

How to reload

1. Edit your configuration file with your desired settings (usually located in your server's plugin folder).

2. Run the reload command:

3. Confirm the reload: Check your server console for a confirmation message. The plugin will re-read all settings.

What reloads

• LOD synchronization settings
• Performance optimization parameters
• Compatibility options with Distant Horizons mod

What doesn't reload

• Already-generated LOD data (pre-existing chunks remain unchanged)
• Connected players' LOD caches (they may need to rejoin for full effect)

If players report issues after reload, have them rejoin the server to refresh their client-side LOD data.
