Collect vanilla mob drops while playing with Pixelmon

Hunt vanilla mobs normally

With this mod active, vanilla mobs spawn naturally again. You can farm them as usual:

• Zombies and skeletons drop experience, bones, and rotten flesh
• Spiders drop string and experience
• Creepers drop gunpowder
• Passive mobs (cows, sheep, pigs) spawn and can be bred

Simply find them at night or in caves and defeat them.

Combine farming strategies

You can now run both vanilla mob farms and Pixelmon grinding simultaneously. Build a dark farm for vanilla mobs while exploring for Pixelmon in biomes. This lets you gather traditional resources without abandoning Pixelmon gameplay.

Manage mob density

If too many mobs are spawning and causing lag, you can:

• Adjust Pixelmon spawn rates in its config
• Use spawn-proofing (torches, slabs) in areas where you want fewer mobs
• Cull mobs periodically

Balanced progression

You're no longer forced to rely solely on Pixelmon for resources. Early-game survival becomes more traditional while maintaining the mod's core features.
