Survive Warden Encounters by Removing Darkness Fog

Disable Darkness Fog in Settings

Open the Disable Fog Mod configuration menu. Find the option for darkness fog (the fog effect triggered when a Warden is nearby) and turn it off.

How This Helps in Combat

When a Warden detects you, it applies a darkness effect that creates an oppressive fog, severely limiting your vision. By disabling this fog type, you maintain clear sight even when the Warden is hunting you.

Tactical Advantage

With darkness fog removed, you can:

• See escape routes clearly
• Spot the Warden's position more easily
• Navigate terrain without stumbling into obstacles
• React faster to the Warden's attacks

Balance Consideration

Note that removing darkness fog makes Warden encounters significantly easier. If you want to keep the challenge but improve visibility slightly, you could instead keep terrain fog disabled while leaving darkness fog on. Experiment with different combinations to find your preferred difficulty level.
