How to Verify the Mod Is Actually Loaded and Working
Quick checks
If you are unsure whether Disable Accessibility Screen is doing anything, you can confirm it in a few places without digging into files.
Steps
1. Open your mod loader's mod list screen (accessible from the main menu in most loaders).
2. Search the list for the mod by name. If it appears and is enabled, it is loaded.
3. Close the game completely, then relaunch it. A fresh launch is the only time the accessibility screen would normally appear, so this is the real test.
4. Observe the startup: no accessibility prompt should appear, and you should land on the main menu.
5. Check Options > Accessibility Settings to confirm the Narrator is off.
6. If the mod is listed but the screen still appears, check whether a resource pack or another mod is injecting a custom first-launch screen.
Common false alarms
Seeing the accessibility screen once after updating your mod loader or resetting your options is normal, because the game treats it as a first launch again. After that initial pass, the mod should suppress it on subsequent launches. If it appears every single time, that points to a conflict rather than the mod failing.
