Set up a base in the White Fortress
Claiming the main castle
The White Fortress is the centerpiece of the map and makes an excellent starting base. Begin by exploring all the rooms inside to understand the existing layout—you'll find decorated chambers, storage areas, and functional spaces already furnished.
Customizing your space
Decide which rooms suit your needs. The fortress has multiple levels and sections, so you can claim specific areas for different purposes: one room for sleeping, another for crafting, a third for storage. Remove or replace furniture that doesn't match your playstyle.
If you want to expand, the fortress's diorite construction makes it easy to add matching wings or towers. Mine additional diorite from the surrounding area or use complementary white blocks like white concrete or calcite to extend the structure seamlessly.
Securing resources nearby
The blacksmith shop and forest house are close enough to use as satellite bases. Use them for specific tasks—the blacksmith shop works well for smelting and tool repair, while the forest house can serve as a waypoint or secondary storage. This keeps your main fortress organized and prevents clutter.
