Using the Differentiate Mod

What This Mod Does

Differentiate Mod is a library mod, meaning it does not add its own gameplay content on its own. Instead, it provides shared code that other mods can depend on, so those mods do not have to reimplement the same functionality themselves. If you install it by itself, you should not expect new blocks, items, or mobs to appear.

Automation and Licensing

The mod is built with an emphasis on automation, so it is intended to support mods that automate tasks or processes within the game. It is also released under a copyleft license, which means derivative works that build on its code are expected to keep the same licensing terms. This matters if you plan to reuse or redistribute it as part of a modpack or another project.

Installing It

Because it is a library, you generally install it alongside the mods that require it. If another mod lists Differentiate Mod as a dependency, add it to the same environment to avoid missing-code errors at startup.
