How Diagonal Wall Connections Work

Diagonal Walls Mod changes how walls behave when placed next to each other. Instead of only joining along straight lines, walls can now form diagonal connections, letting you build angled runs that follow a sloped or stepped layout rather than a rigid grid-aligned line.

This opens up shapes that vanilla walls cannot produce, such as angled castle walls, sloped enclosures, and other complex structures. The same diagonal connection behavior also applies to fences and glass panes, so these blocks stay visually consistent with your walls in a single design.

One important limitation: vertical connections are disabled. When you stack walls on top of each other, they will not join vertically, leaving a gap between the stacked sections. Keep this in mind when planning taller walls, since you may need to account for that gap in your build.

Overall, the mod is a small change to wall placement logic aimed at builders who want more freedom in angled and diagonal architecture.
