Fix Missing Cosmetics or Skins Not Loading
Why Your Cosmetics Aren't Showing
If you've installed a cosmetic mod but your character's custom parts (like capes, horns, or glowing effects) aren't appearing in-game, DGLib may not be installed or is outdated. Many cosmetic add-ons depend on DGLib to function—it provides the core tools those mods use to swap body parts and apply visual layers.
How to Restore Your Cosmetics
1. Check your mods folder and confirm DGLib is present alongside your cosmetic mods.
2. Load a world and check if the cosmetic mod's features now appear. If not, the mod may need DGLib to initialize properly.
3. Restart your game completely. Some cosmetic systems only load their features on startup.
4. Verify mod compatibility by checking if your cosmetic mod's documentation mentions DGLib as a requirement.
If cosmetics still don't show after these steps, the cosmetic mod itself may have an issue unrelated to DGLib. DGLib only provides the underlying system—it doesn't add cosmetics directly. The cosmetic mod you installed is responsible for creating and displaying the actual visual content.
