How Enchantment Colors Work

The mod uses color-coded visual effects on your armor bar to show which protection enchantments are currently active. Each enchantment type has its own distinct color overlay, allowing you to instantly know what defenses you have without opening your inventory.

Common Protection Enchantments

When you equip armor with enchantments like Protection, Fire Protection, Blast Protection, or Projectile Protection, the bar displays a colored indicator corresponding to each. This is especially useful when switching between armor sets—you can verify you're wearing the right protection before entering a dangerous environment.

Practical Application

• Before exploring the Nether: Check if your armor shows Fire Protection indicators
• Before mining: Verify Blast Protection is active if you're using TNT or near creepers
• Before PvP or mob fights: Confirm general Protection is displayed

The color system eliminates guesswork. You don't need to hover over items or open menus—the HUD tells you everything. This is especially valuable in multiplayer or hardcore mode where quick decisions matter.
