Enable and Disable Depth of Field Focus
Toggling the Effect On and Off
Depth of Field (DoF) can be toggled quickly without restarting your game. Look for the shader options in your video settings menu—this is typically accessed through Options > Video Settings, then locate the Shaders section.
Finding the Right Toggle
Once in shader settings, you'll see DepthField Shaders listed among active shaders. Look for an enable/disable checkbox or toggle next to it. Unchecking this will turn off the blur effect entirely while keeping the shader loaded.
If you want to completely remove the shader, you can disable it from your shader pack folder and restart the game. However, toggling through settings is faster for testing.
Testing the Effect
After enabling, look closely at a nearby block or object. You should see the background blur slightly while your focus point stays sharp. If the effect is too subtle or too strong, check if your shader pack has intensity or focus distance settings you can adjust in the same menu.
