How to Use Bucket-Served Soups, Stews and Drinks

Why Buckets Matter

Delightful Creators stores many of its foods as buckets: Apple Cider Bucket, Beef Stew Bucket, Chicken Soup Bucket, Bone Broth Bucket, Hot Cocoa Bucket, Fish Stew Bucket, and more. A bucket holds multiple servings, so this is the bulk-food path of the mod rather than the single-portion path.

Getting Food Out of a Bucket

1. Craft or obtain the filled bucket through the mod's cooking process.

2. Place the bucket in your inventory and interact with it the way you would any bucket-based food — you consume a serving and the bucket is returned or retained depending on how the item is set up.

3. For serving other players or automating a kitchen, route the bucket through a fluid-handling setup so portions can be dispensed rather than drunk straight from the item.

Which Buckets to Prioritize

  • Bone Broth Bucket is a foundational item — it feeds into several other soups and stews, so make it in bulk first.
  • Hot Cocoa Bucket and Apple Cider Bucket are drink-type buckets and are useful as low-effort buff food while exploring.
  • Dog Food Bucket and Horse Feed Bucket are for animals, not players. Do not drink them.

Storage

Buckets do not stack. Build a wall of chests or a fluid tank array early if you plan to cook at scale.
