Build a Custom Kitchen Cabinet with Crafting Recipes

Design Your Cabinet

Kitchen cabinets are storage blocks that also function as crafting stations. Decide what recipes your cabinet should support—these are typically food-related or ingredient-preparation recipes.

Register the Cabinet Block

1. Create a cabinet identifier and assign textures for all six sides

2. Define the internal inventory size

3. Add crafting recipes using Delight Lib's recipe system

4. For each recipe, specify inputs and outputs

5. Register the cabinet with the mod's block handler

Add Recipes to Your Cabinet

Each recipe added to the cabinet becomes available when a player opens it. The mod automatically generates the GUI and handles inventory logic. You can add multiple recipes—players select which one to craft using the cabinet's interface.

Customize Appearance

Provide custom model JSON and textures to make your cabinet visually distinct. The mod applies these automatically during registration.
