What Deimos Lib Does

Deimos Lib is a library mod aimed at developers rather than regular players. On its own it does not add items, blocks, or gameplay content. Instead, it gives mod authors two main tools.

First, it handles data generation and configuration. It lets developers register new recipes while the game is starting up, so those recipes become available without extra manual work.

Second, it simplifies config file creation. Mods built on Deimos Lib get user-friendly config screens, so players can adjust settings through a proper interface instead of editing files by hand. This configuration side is based on MidnightLib by Motschen.

Because it is a library, Deimos Lib is usually installed automatically as a dependency of another mod. If you see it in your mod list, some other mod needs it. It is compatible with Fabric's Mod Menu for displaying configs, and it works across multiple Minecraft versions and mod loaders.
