Use the Numbered Hotbar Slots

Understanding Hotbar Numbers

Deez FPS adds small numbers (1 through 9) to the bottom of each hotbar slot. These numbers correspond to your keyboard number keys, making it faster to identify and switch between items without looking at your inventory.

Quick-Switch Items Using Numbers

1. Look at your hotbar at the bottom of the screen

2. Locate the item you want to use and note its number

3. Press the corresponding number key on your keyboard (1–9)

4. Your character will instantly equip that item

5. The item will be highlighted with a bright orange box, showing it's now active

Benefits in Gameplay

Numbered slots are especially useful when:

• Building: Switch between blocks, tools, and scaffolding rapidly
• Combat: Alternate between weapons, healing items, and shields without opening inventory
• Mining: Toggle between different pickaxes for different ore types
• Exploration: Quickly access torches, food, or utility items

The numbers remain visible at all times, even while moving or in combat, so you always know which key to press for the item you need.
