Spot the Orange Selection Box

When you equip an item from your hotbar, Deez FPS highlights it with a bright orange box around the slot. This makes it instantly clear which item is currently active in your hand.

How to Use This Feature

1. Look at your hotbar at the bottom of the screen

2. Find the slot with the orange box—this is your active item

3. Press any number key (1–9) to switch to a different slot

4. The orange box will move to the new slot, and your character will equip that item

5. The orange highlight updates in real-time as you switch items

Why This Matters

The orange selection box is more visible than the vanilla highlight, especially in bright environments or when you're focused on the game world. This helps you:

• Avoid accidentally using the wrong tool or weapon
• Quickly confirm which item is equipped before performing an action
• Maintain awareness of your active item during fast-paced situations
• Reduce confusion when switching between similar items

The orange color contrasts sharply against both the dark hotbar background and typical item textures, ensuring you never lose track of what you're holding.
