Maintain Consistent Mining Speed Across All Depths

Understanding the Speed Consistency

Deepslate Tweaks Mod synchronizes the mining speed of Deepslate and Cobbled Deepslate with Stone. This creates a uniform mining experience from surface to bedrock.

How It Works

1. Stone and Deepslate now share identical strength values — your pickaxe breaks both at the same rate

2. No tool downgrades needed — a Stone pickaxe mines Deepslate just as fast as it mines Stone

3. Cobbled Deepslate matches too — both Deepslate variants have equal mining speed

Practical Impact

• Predictable mining rhythm — you won't experience sudden slowdowns when transitioning between stone types
• Fair progression — early-game tools remain viable for longer without penalty
• Streamlined gameplay — no need to adjust technique or tool selection based on stone type

This consistency removes the jarring experience of mining speed changing based on depth, making the overall exploration feel fair and balanced.
