Enable or Disable Specific Block Overlays

Access Customization Settings

Deep Origins Overlays uses the Respackopts tool to let you control which visual effects appear in your world. Open your game settings and locate the resource pack options menu.

Toggle Individual Overlay Types

Once in Respackopts, you'll find toggles for:

• Dirt path and farmland overlays — Turn these on to see blended edges where dirt paths meet grass, or disable them to keep paths looking sharp and defined
• Sandstone connections — Disable this if you prefer sandstone and red sandstone blocks to appear separate rather than blending together
• Overhang effects — Control whether snow layers, moss carpets, and pale moss carpets hang naturally over block edges

Apply Changes

Adjust each toggle to match your preferred aesthetic, then confirm your settings. Changes apply immediately without restarting your world. You can experiment with different combinations to find the balance between smooth blending and classic vanilla appearance that suits your building style.
