Build a Recreation or Study Room
Choose Your Room's Purpose
Decide whether you're creating a study space or entertainment area. For study rooms, focus on Open Book, Books and Candles, and Book with Ink. For recreation, prioritize Chess Board, Harp, Controller, and Telescope.
Set Up Furniture
Place a table or desk as your central piece using full blocks or stairs. Position your main decorative item—a Chess Board or Harp—as the focal point on top. Add a Bar Stool or chair nearby for seating.
Layer in Details
Arrange smaller items around your main piece: scatter Open Books on shelves, place a Telescope by a window, or position a Controller on a side table. Use the Lamp or Large Candlestick for ambient lighting that suits the room's mood.
Create Atmosphere
For study rooms, add Books and Candles on high shelves and use warm lighting to encourage focus. For recreation areas, spread items across multiple surfaces to suggest an active, lived-in space. Leave walking room and avoid blocking doorways.
