Finding Your Items After Death

Death Finder Mod records where you die and shows that location right on the death screen, so you always know where to head back to. Every death message also includes the coordinates, the dimension, and how far you currently are from the death point.

Server operators can click the coordinates in a death message to teleport straight to the death point. This click-to-teleport option can also be enabled for regular players, with two limits: it only works within a short window after dying, and it only applies to your own most recent death.

The mod also posts a death message when a villager or any named entity dies. An optional setting extends death messages to every entity death, but this is turned off by default.

Together these features remove the guesswork of recovering your items.
