Understanding the Hands Panel

The mod includes a dedicated Hands slot that mirrors your active hotbar selection. When you switch hotbar items, the Hands panel updates to show what you're holding. This panel renders your held item at double scale with an item name banner for clear visibility.

Switching Active Items

1. Open your inventory (E key)

2. Look at the Hands panel (typically displayed as a translucent section)

3. Click items in your hotbar to change your active held item

4. The Hands panel immediately reflects your selection

5. Close inventory to see your character holding the item in the world

Practical Usage

The Hands slot lets you preview what you're about to equip before closing your inventory. This is especially useful during survival situations when you need to quickly switch between tools, weapons, or consumables. The large item rendering makes it easy to confirm you've selected the correct tool for the task ahead.
