Prevent Mobs from Burning in Sunlight

Understanding the Default Behavior

By default, Daylight Mobs Reborn prevents zombies and skeletons from taking fire damage when exposed to direct sunlight. This keeps them dangerous throughout the day and night.

Checking Your Configuration

Open the mod's configuration file in your config/ folder. Look for a setting controlling mob burning—typically named prevent_mob_burning, disable_sunlight_damage, or similar. Confirm it is set to true to keep the anti-burning feature active.

Observing the Effect

Load your world and expose zombies or skeletons to direct sunlight. Unlike vanilla mobs, they will not ignite or take damage. They will continue moving and attacking normally in broad daylight.

Disabling the Feature (Optional)

If you want mobs to burn in sunlight again, change the configuration setting to false, save, and restart your world. Mobs will revert to vanilla behavior, burning when exposed to direct sun.
