Unlike vanilla beds that set your spawn point, Day Dream Mod's daytime sleep focuses purely on time advancement. You maintain full control over your location and inventory.

What Happens When You Sleep

1. Time advances to nighttime immediately

2. You remain in the same location where you slept

3. Your inventory and items stay unchanged

4. No spawn point is set (unless you want to use the bed for that separately)

5. You can sleep again as soon as night ends and day begins

Combining with Vanilla Beds

You can use Day Dream Mod's sleep feature for time control while still using separate beds for spawn point management. Place one bed for sleeping during the day to skip time, and another bed elsewhere for setting your respawn location. This gives you maximum flexibility in your base design and workflow.

This approach works well in multiplayer and single-player worlds where you want predictable time control without disrupting your base setup.
