Change Gamerules After World Creation

Accessing the Gamerules Menu

Once you're in your world, open your inventory and navigate to the Options screen. You'll see a new button labeled Gamerules added by this mod. Click it to open the gamerules editor.

Editing Individual Gamerules

The gamerules menu displays all available gamerules for your world. Each gamerule shows its current setting. Click on any gamerule to modify it:

  • Boolean gamerules (like "Do daylight cycle" or "Keep inventory") toggle between true and false
  • Numeric gamerules (like "Random tick speed") let you enter a new value
  • String gamerules allow you to type custom values

After changing a gamerule, the new setting takes effect immediately in your world. You don't need to restart or reload—changes apply right away. This is especially useful for adjusting difficulty settings, mob spawning, or survival mechanics mid-playthrough without needing command access.
