Customize GUI Transparency Levels
Adjusting Opacity Settings
The Dark Transparent GUI Resource Pack allows you to fine-tune how transparent your menus and HUD elements appear. Open your resource pack folder and locate the assets directory, then navigate to the GUI texture files.
Modifying Texture Files
Within the texture files, you'll find PNG images with alpha channel data that controls transparency. Use an image editor like GIMP or Photoshop to adjust the opacity slider on GUI textures. Lower alpha values (closer to 0) make elements more transparent; higher values make them more opaque.
After editing, save the files and reload your resource pack in-game by pressing F3 + T (or navigating to Options > Resource Packs). Test your changes by opening various menus—inventory, crafting tables, chests, and the pause menu.
If you're uncomfortable editing textures directly, many community variants of this pack offer preset transparency levels. You can layer multiple packs to achieve your preferred balance between visibility and immersion.
