Dark Rewards Mod: How Timed Rewards Work

Receiving Random Rewards Every 30 Minutes

Dark Rewards Mod adds a single mechanic: while you play, you receive a random reward item every 30 minutes. The reward goes directly into your inventory, and a message appears on screen to tell you an item has been given to you.

The reward is picked at random from a fixed list of food and miscellaneous items. The food entries include cooked meats, baked potatoes, pumpkin pie, rabbit stew, melon, and apples. Other possible rewards include pink wool, a diamond, snowballs, and slime balls. Each entry has its own quantity, so some rewards arrive in larger stacks than others.

Because the timer runs during normal play, you do not need to craft, trade, or fight for these items — they simply arrive on their own schedule. The mod does not add any other blocks, items, or crafting recipes, so it can be used alongside most other mods without changing how you play.
