Set Up Dark Anime Sky with Optifine

Enable Custom Skybox in Optifine

The Dark Anime Sky Resource Pack works best when paired with Optifine's custom skybox feature. This combination gives you the full dark mountain anime aesthetic without performance issues.

1. Launch Minecraft with Optifine installed

2. Go to Options > Video Settings > Custom Sky

3. Toggle Custom Sky to ON

4. Ensure Dark Anime Sky Resource Pack is loaded above any other sky-related packs in your resource pack list

5. Return to the main menu and load a world

Verify the Sky Displays Correctly

Once enabled, you should see the dark mountain landscape with moons and stars. If the sky appears vanilla or incorrect:

• Check that Dark Anime Sky is above other packs in your resource pack order
• Confirm Optifine's Custom Sky setting remains ON
• Reload your world (exit and re-enter)
• If using multiple skybox mods, disable conflicting ones

The pack is now ready for PvP. The dark theme reduces eye strain during long combat sessions while keeping your view clear for tracking opponents.
